Pumpkin, Apple & Cinnamon Smoothie

I love smoothies, they are the perfect way to pack in a whole heap of nutrients and it’s one of the ways that I look after my gut health.

This one is packed with vitamin A (pumpkin) and is a nutrient powerhouse. Just the perfect way to start the day!


Ingredients (makes 1 1/2 cups )

  • ¾ cup chilled steamed pumpkin

  • ½ cup (125ml) unsweetened almond milk

  • 1/3 cup (80ml) unsweetened coconut yoghurt

  • ¼ medium green apple, peeled & cored

  • ¼ small frozen banana

  • ¼ small avocado

  • ½ Medjool date

  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 3 ice cubes

Throw everything in a blender and blitz until smooth and serve
